where is the "view additional settings"? I sign in and it says in that exact web page, underneath "your account" all it says is "you sign in to YouTube with your google account" so what's going on

The first thing you need to do is sub to vidiq and umm cough you can who else :) then verify. At least I did that...

My youtube verification is not working!
I am verified with my google account, have tried to verify my youtube and it says it can't verify this number, I should try a different one. I try a different one and nothing works.Then I go back and try the old one again a few times until I finally get a text message with the code but when I type the code youtube says its invalid... I am losing my hopes of starting a youtube channel because of this issue... Can anyone help, please?
