Street Fighter 6 includes all new modes and gameplay, including a brand new Drive gauge, as well as its World Tour Mode where you can create and customize your own character. Mix and match your favorite moves from the game - like Spinning Bird Kick or Flash Knuckle - accessorize your character with your favorite outfits, and make your ideal fighter who you can take online.

Street Fighter 6 has also updated its multiplayer in multiple ways. This includes a Battle Hub arcade where you'll be able to setup and participate in tournaments, just like visiting a real world arcade. They've also updated their tournament rules, and focused on fixing online lag to give the best competitive experience.

This might be the most hyped I have ever been for a game. I’ve been a fan of SF my whole life but because of a physical disability could never really play them, but I downloaded the demo and the modern controls actually work for me! I finally can play a series that I’ve been watching for over a decade!

I couldn't disagree more with this take. They've updated the game engine. They've introduced brand new game mechanics. They've introduced brand new controls which make this game much, much, much easier for beginners to get into. They've added brand new characters. They've added a free roam story mode. They've added a battle hub which brings back the feeling of arcades. They've added more new modes to play the game such as extreme battles. They've VASTLY improved the tutorials and the training mode, once again allowing beginners to have a much easier time getting into fighting games. They've added a function to create your own avatars and change their style as you progress.

With all the AAA games coming out half-baked, its amazing to watch the devs constantly want to show off this game. There's SO MUCH to do in this game, more than this video even touches on. On top of that, they just made an amazing system that is fun and deep. I'm so hyped for this game.

The reviewer mentions "over drive arts" as part of the drive system. This is incorrect. The "over drive arts" are actually supers in the game, of which there are 3 levels. These are tied to the super meter at the bottom of the screen, not the drive meter under the players life bar.
Also, not all drive actions cost 1 bar. OD special moves cost 2 bars, and cancelling into drive rush from a normal cost 3 bars.

We live in a society where we have Ed in sf6 right after also being in sfv and haven't got Makoto back since street fighter 4. That Dante color scheme for Ken looks cool, though. So the game is not 100% bad

This was a good intro! Also love just seeing more footage. Can't wait for June 2nd. I'm genuinely interesting in trying out several characters seriously but Chun is my usual main so obviously will try her out!

If you're new to SF, it's worth correcting a few things.

The hitbox style controllers have advantages but also disadvantages. The changes that have been made have only changed what those advantages and disadvantages are. For example, Chun Li's Spinning Bird Kick is now very slightly harder than usual but the change also gives her an immediate Tenshou (anti-air).

Yes 6 is later in the timeline than 3 but the devs recently confirmed that 3 isn't the most recent entry before 6. SFV takes place before, during, and after 3 so the later events in SFV are the most recent before 6.

Also ignore all the pronunciations of character names in this video. You'll learn from the announcer in-game

Should have made mention about needing a separate ’Capcom ID’ setup and linked up to whichever platform you prefer/intend to play on.

Suppose many have already known from either other Capcom titles or playing the closed beta.

But as someone that had done neither, I found that out when trying the open beta. Didn’t take long, but just saying.
