Anyone looking to get out of the hood or their small town I suggest you join the military and go on Active Duty. Travel the world meet great people and gain experiences that you'll never forget.

Good luck to all the ladies- It can be a life changing path. I was a hs graduate with a 2.3 GPA, and after doing my 4 years, I left the Navy and immediately enrolled in college. I am finishing my first semester with 16 credits with a 4.0 GPA and my life is being LIVED.

To those who serve, my respect to you! I served 24 years in the Air Force and it’s good to see the young people coming up.

I'm meeting with a recruiter today to go to the National Reserves. You definitely gave me the confidence and the answer I was looking for, and all I can say is: Thank you.

No matter what branch you join or where every your stationed it's all about what you make of it. Enjoy the time while your away from your family and become your own person and look on the bright side of everything. Work hard and play harder Rah!

Great choice of rate!! I knew of many non designated seaman who were striking for OS, everyone of them that was accepted to strike for OS made E5 within their first four year enlistment and E6 in the next, those that stayed in the Navy past their 10 year mark ALL made E7, with a great number going LDO & OCS. The kicker is that they were all given re-enlistment bonuses for OS - AND when OS’s are in port they have LOTS & LOTS of free time, so additional Navy schools and outside college education was readily available, as well as huge amounts of free time to get gym time in. Being an OS is like winning the Navy lottery.

PS: this is coming from a sailor who’s career spanned three decades.

I'm an Army veteran but listening to you I wish I had joined the Navy as some of my class generation of 40 years ago I'm 60 now I wish you much success in your endeavor, Semper Fortis.

I have a son in Navy aboard a ship overseas. Thank you young lady for your service & for making these informative videos to help those who may be interested in enlisting! God Bless, safe travels, congratulations on making rank & on your decision to make the name change to honor the man who raised you. I know he is very proud! My son joined right after graduation, after 4 years NJROTC & a year & a half of DEP. He loves it and is reenlisting. I'm so proud too.

I was recently rejected from the Air Force (for a tattoo)and they told me to try with the Navy(they didn’t mind the tattoo lol). I wanted to learn more and I’m so glad I found your videos. You’re such a huge help. ♥️

Thank you so much for this, I’ve been so nervous and scared to be away from family and over all just missing out on life. In reality you’re right I’m just comfortable and I’ll never grow being comfortable!

Continue to inspire people. I was in the navy, and life is all good for me and my family, if you know the direction you need to take. Take that direction.

I heard and read that it's going to be a lot harder to get approved for tuition assistance (free college) this year and so on, because the Navy didn't budget enough for it. Just something to consider for someone that is joining.
