If anyone from Prof G media sees this, I found the additional sound effects to be distracting. I encourage you to stop using them or cut the volume in half. Usually I just listened to this type of content with the screen off, which is why the sound effects are so distracting. Thank you for all of the work you do, I said this as respectfully and constructively as possible, I sincerely hope that I don't get attacked by a bunch of trolls and fanboys, if I do I will just mute them without responding.

Regarding the last question, the most effective approach is often to bring in a COO. This role can help address critical areas that may fall outside of your current focus, but are essential for driving the business forward. There are numerous successful examples of this in the startup world, with Meta (formerly Facebook) being a prime example of how strategic leadership in this area can significantly contribute to growth.

Prof G, what's your view on big tech job market? Tech companies seem to be only hiring seniors now, does this lead to a situation where senior demand will be higher than ever when most companies won't train junior and mid level engineers, .

Have you seen the interview with Josef Stiglitz at the Commonwealth Club in SF? He's a Hero in my book, but I love your unpretentious opinions.

in my opinion - the self censorship being more reserved versus being very bold and couragous... overall we need more good couragous people in this world. that there probably is not 1 approach that is best for such a wide range of all possible situations! so i encourage both, you gotta just make the best informed choices you can at the time in terms of understanding the wider landscape you are operating in. good luck and i hope to hear more bold statements from you in the future as i regard you as the following thing: MY FRIEND

Another banger…..I’m high level at my current business, and moving up rapidly. Idk if I have what it takes to go to that next level, but the guys just above me aren’t that either….i get promoted cause I make shit happen, get it done…the higher the title, the more politics stuff I run into. Parts are maddening but some of it makes sense. I just wish I could get into the ownership “pool” and make real money, or have the ability to do so, I would steamroll some of these guys, but There’s no incentive where I’m at, not really
