Writer and comedian Tom Gleisner on the story behind his heartwarming new musical Bloom

Bloom is a funny, big-hearted new musical from Working Dog’s Tom Gleisner, the co-creator behind some of Australia’s most beloved comedies (The Castle, The Dish, Utopia) and Melbourne Theatre Company’s smash-hit production The Speechmaker. Collaborating with singer, actor and composer Katie Weston and directed by Dean Bryant, they have crafted a heartwarming, uplifting and joyful musical that reminds us that there is always something to learn, no matter how old we are.
