The gallbladder is a pear-shaped sac whose primary function is storing the bile that was synthesized in the liver. The gallbladder consists of several anatomical parts (fundus, neck, body) and lies in a fossa between the right and left lobes of the liver. It functions as an accessory organ by concentrating the bile and transporting it to the duodenum via the common bile duct, aiding in digestion and fat absorption.

The gallbladder receives its blood supply from the cystic artery, stemming from the right hepatic artery and receives venous drainage by the cystic veins that lead partially into the portal vein or back to the liver.

I feel constant pressure (like a balloon is stuck) under my right ribcage on the far right side. Does anyone know if that is that a symptom of gallbladder issues or liver issues (fatty liver)? Thanks

I luv YouTube! And youtubers who make good channels. Let me say I'm training my English. I could understand almost everything without subs.
