She’s doing well and he’s a great teacher. He’s right behind her watching her, telling her to be careful and getting her experienced on the actual road. All these dudes being assholes about him being a tool when he isn’t.

Using the rear brake when stopping up hills is good advice, it's much easier to roll on throttle when you aren't using the front brake. A tip for downshifting into first is to softly use some rear brake while holding in the clutch and *slowly* release the clutch. I see the R3 doesn't have a slipper clutch, which would make the downshifts easier.

Those roads up in USA are just so great and chill! You shouldn't be scared there, here in Lima Peru the traffic is always fucking chaos! Greetings from this side of the world.

Downshifting to first is not always needed, you can just keep it in second and hold the clutch in till you come to a stop if thats easier. 2nd should slow you down enough, congrats on makin it to the

good job and glad jaret mentioned finally about riding the rear brake with slow turns. try chanding your leavers over to pazzo short adjustable. all the learner bike I've built the learners have praised them due to feeling the friction point better and if you drop it you won't break them compared to the crazy long ones. doing well and keep safe.

Finally I can watch you riding your R3 on the road. I enjoyed the video so much and I think you should buy some aftermarket clutch and brake pedal for your R3 because few days ago I bought some great quality pedal for my bike and the changes is indescribable. It feels easier to shift and brake and it makes my driving experience more fun. Wish you can have a better experience while riding your R3 too !

i know exactly how she feels in this. im still learning to ride a cbr300r myself and hate going down gears and ive still got to learn what gear i am in since i have no gear indicator. always ride to the edge of the road and not the middle unless coming up to an intersection then youll want to be in the middle/inner line so you can be seen and have more room to avoid accidents if they happen.

Once you're comfy riding on the road go out on a race track (boots, leathers and sliders on!) and have some fun practicing curves... everybody's driving in the same direction and you could try an knee down... who knows  you might get hooked! But  first and most of all enjoy riding!

Never go into first gear unless your stopped.
Your bike will roll away in 2nd no problem
Have fun and be safe👍

I don't really understand the hate towards jaret, ye sometimes he was a bit cocky but i thought he was very usefull to her! The tips of driving or on the right or left, helping her clutch. watching out for her. And ofcourse he speeds of a bit if he is driving 'that slow for his experience' .
