I feel like all of this barefoot is a scam... Why a shoe thats literally minimalistic and needs 0 special materials cost 2x more than any sneaker i bought eve. It should cost less than those cushioned shoes. I used to buy barefoot cheap shoes for PE for 2 dollars new in my country long time ago and now since it became a trend the prices are ridiculous. Like $130 for a shoe that looks trash xdd You not scamming people but those companies that sell them are charging extra for that "barefoot" phrase just like they are doing for "bio, vegan, vege" etc

I had a plethora of foot/ankle/toe problems when I was a runner. After switching to Altra’s, I haven’t had any problems. Wide toe box for the win!

I found Oranginer shoes at Amazon. Wide minimalist shoes with good stability (for weight lifting) for $40. I used to get Vibram 5 fingers for 3 times the price. I'm trying these out to see how well they last.

Never tried Xero. But I've got 2 pair of Amazon knockoffs and love them. I've broken both big toes, and had corrective bunion surgery on both feet. Huge difference in my day to day life 👍

This is how I end up in double extra wide men's shoes and they barely have room for my feet. Women's 3x wide barely exist. I would like everyone to shape shoes like feet so I can have more options please and we can all suffer less
