Add solar aeration for the pond, or a solar pump to make a waterfall.. will improve pond hugely and reduce algaes. Also you can make a methane actual power generator off the algae, but it is complex to do

Justin, you guys should try what I do with my pumpkins and see if you like it - roast halves in the oven, cool remove seeds and scrape out of skins. You can puree the flesh with a stick blender if you want it smooth and freeze them in silicone muffin tins, freeze and use in smoothies with pumpkin pie spice vanilla protein powder avocado and spinach. Sooo good! Then you could eat what you grow 😊

REPLACE the mold insulation. If the mold is in the house there is a chance it is going to spread. Don't take the chance.

That wet tarp should be scrubbed and dried before you fold it and put away. The mold will grow fast in this heat, then it can spread to the storage area! Please be safe. The green fried tomatoes and chicken sound so good right now!

We are in south central Texas
Most years we kept ac in summer at 76
This year we keep it at 73/74 at night but day we keep at 80 with fans. Took a little adjustment but now working out in the heat and humidity during the day, 80 feels nice. Should save money too hopefully.

I am so in awe of your garden and how quickly it has grown. I'm still waiting for some of my stuff, sown in March, to grow above 3 inches! The weather here in GB has been so awful.

If you are going to put in a big bass like that, you'll need a lot of food fish. Get some tilapia to provide feeders and help with the algae. You may want to buy a few thousand minnows or shiners. They can be shipped by mail.

4ft piece of chain link fence and a rope make a great lake or pond rake..

Justin the buttermilk is a fantastic idea because I worked at a restaurant when I was young on the lake in Alabama on lay lake and we brined our chicken breast that they grilled for sandwiches and it was a specialty in buttermilk for like 3 to 4 days before we cooked it and it was wonderful everybody loved it

Aerating the pond can help clear it up also.
