Men’s health is the worst place to go to for any type of advice. It’s all marketing bs.

Whenever Hollywood trainers make videos something always seems off .it is like thay just came up with a bunch of exercises off the top of there head
, and strung them together nonsensically in a way that goes against conventional programming. Gives me the feeling that there not saying what actually goes on.

This routine doesn't look like it's going to turn anyone into a superhero, not even a sidekick

I love Don Saladino, but idk why this is what he decided to showcase on mens health. I have the deadpool program from his website, and this workout is nowhere in there. It's a 6 day push, pulll, legs split. One day is heavy, and one day is a pump day with more volume. The workouts are great btw 💪

I’m disappointed... I was expecting dead pool to be Ryan’s trainer

If you’re going to be having the client perform a full body circuit which tends to be very taxing and requires a lot of ATP, carbohydrates why would you have them foam roll before? Doesn’t foam rolling the way shown on the video just put pressure and squeeze water out of the muscle, dehydrating it for the workout? What I have my clients do is put move the muscle on a foam roller or small dense ball to allow them to activate the muscle and loosen an active and working muscle.

Great, but what about shoulders?
I would substitute the bench with some overhead work.
But good other than that - especially the kettlebell.

This might be good for someone looking to maintain muscle but for anyone looking to gain size its not going to help since there isn't enough volume to stimulate each muscle group for growth. 25 reps total for chest? That's good for powerlifting sure, but for growth your going to need at least 70-90 reps, and this will vary between muscle groups. It's annoying to see videos like this since a lot of beginners will follow it thinking they'll look like Ryan Reynolds when it simply isn't the case, and this should be highlighted at the beginning
