My dad had heart failure 😔. If you are reading this then you have been searching for what to expect like I did. Soon I will make a video myself for people to hear it straight as it is with no fancy medical words. If one of your family members has this and you want to know what to expect. My 89 year old Mom has hf. She has had it a few years. First mild then after a small heart attack it went to moderate. Now I am now worried as her gp has asked her to fill in an advanced care plan and gave her lots of time at the surgery - then they said they had a big multidisciplinary team meeting and are asking carers to help which in the uk usually takes ages for assessment but no they came the next week!. I just dont know whats happening. I thought maybe its a really bad sign and was upset - but would want to know so I can help her and be prepared. Maybe I am over reacting and its just that people pop up on the gp computer when they get to a certain age. She has swollen feet ankles and has lost weight and is very tired. She has twice had coughing up blood in the night. I mean if I did that I would expect a chest x ray or something but no. She is also anaemic. Any thoughts with your medical knowledge would be gratefully received. Thank you. ps good video.

I'm headed to Standford for an opportunity to meet some great doctors who will help me with my search of life I've worsened in past 5 years and now looking at days maybe weeks to live been seeking hospital help in order to manage symptoms I am on oxygen therapy and been using it more to stay alive, I am not giving up

I begged pleaded for cardiac ablation but drs ignored me Mayo Clinic was waiting for referral sadly the drs were not either trustworthy truthful and now after suffering for weeks upon weeks of inability to catch his breath they would even keep him in hospital Marin General. After being rushed to hospital so from the moment he was cohersed into going to Er to going to die they told me we listen he died suffering in my arms not being able to breathe
