Storm in a Teacup (1937) | Full Movie | Upscaled to 4K | Black & White

I colorized this movie back in April 2024 and had some really nice feedback from it. As I am currently restoring the colorized collection to the original black and white, this one, I think, is a great choice.
I downloaded the original from the archive in SD and in quite good condition. I used AI software to upscaled it to 4K with 30% facial enhancement and 5% sharpening. The process took around 12 hours to complete.
Storm in a Teacup (1937), directed by Ian Dalrymple and Victor Saville, is a British romantic comedy-drama starring Vivien Leigh, Rex Harrison, and Cecil Parker. The film follows Frank Burdon (Harrison), an ambitious journalist who arrives in a small Scottish town and writes a scathing article about the town’s authoritarian provost, William Gow (Parker). Gow, seeking revenge, tries to destroy Frank’s reputation, but complications arise when Frank falls in love with Gow’s spirited daughter, Victoria (Leigh). As tensions escalate, the townspeople rally against Gow’s unjust actions, leading to a humorous and heartfelt battle of wit and justice.
I have added a short video at the beginning to show some of the work involved in upscaling and cleaning up this movie. You can skip to 00:04:23 to watch the full movie.
