Got a night flight on an E2C HAWKEYE during work ups to 1982 Mediterranean /Indian Ocean deployment.
A Senior Chief over Aresting gear Room was from my hometown and grew up with my older sisters.
He talked me into a flight.
I'm glad I didn't chicken out.
I was Repair Division Pipeshop Hull Maintenance Technician 2nd class Petty Officer.
Technology beyond belief....
