The second wife will kill them all. She seems to be off and a little crazy you can hear it in her laugh.

What if the tables were turned and it was a woman with multiple husbands. Would this be acceptable in their beliefs?

It’s fine to have a big relationship but when one party gets to enjoy both partners and the other has to share you’ve created something that’s more about what men want

There’s a scene in the episode that makes me laugh so hard I cry. Even months later every time I think about it I bust out laughing.
When they decide to be brave and go out together and basically announce their plural marriage to the world. So they pack up and head out to a local park for their daughters birthday. They’d talked themselves up like it was gonna be this huge life changing event. Then they got to the park AND NOBODY WAS THERE. Then they said “maybe coming to the park on a Sunday morning wasn’t a good idea” THEY LIVE IN A MORMON COMMUNITY. Mormons don’t come out to play on Sundays, they’re at church. So they decide to try again the day after. So they go to the farmers market and walk around randomly telling people “hey this is my SECOND wife” just random strangers. AND NOBODY CARED. It’s still the funniest thing I have ever seen.
They’d made such a big deal about how much they were sacrificing putting their plural marriage out in the open. AND NOBODY CARED.
You should’ve seen their faces when they got to the park holding both wives hands and they realize there’s nobody there. They waited for like 2 hours and no one showed up.
This is the video that lives rent free in my head.

I used to watch Sister Wives and was hooked mainly because I was curious of the lifestyle and religion. They claim they look for sister wives because it unites the family, all the sister wives help around the house. Flash forward a few seasons later and the family is not so united, the sister wives do not all get along and the husband has a favorite one. I don’t see the benefits at all.
