Biochemist here. We don’t actually say “scientifically proven” about any of our claims in research articles or peer reviewed papers. At least… good chemists/researchers don’t. We are able to say “scientifically supported, ” or that our findings “strongly support” hypothesis X, Y, and/or Z.

Anyone who tries to convince you of something by using the term “scientifically proven, ” is really just trying to make a sale. Keep that in mind people.
