Turcotte's situation is super sad really, the kid was originally doing really solidly, then ended up with a nasty concussion after an elbow to the head. What makes it worse is that the next season another dirty hit did the same thing. Really sucks for him and I really hope he pulls through, is a pretty likeable young man.

As an Ottawa fan I'm saying no all day to that STL proposal I wouldn't trade Kleven for Faulk or Parayko 1 for 1 and then DeBrincat is being traded for 25th overall and a couple late round picks I just don't see how Ottawa replaces DeBrincats spot in the top 6 with Parayko or Faulks bad contracts on the team

I'd love some type of Newhook for Toffoli deal, with some late picks thrown in there

As a Wings fan i would say no to either trade. Debrincat would be lucky to hit 30 goals in Detroit, he's small and can't play defense. For all the long term money he will want and the assets to trade for him, not worth it at all for the Wings to bring in what will likely be a bad contract for a one dimensional small player.

Konecny is interesting but again not worth it to give up their 1st rounder next year. The Boston pick they got from the Bertuzzi trade maybe but not their own. They might as well just sign Bertuzzi instead of giving up assets to replace him.

Wings biggest needs are a top offensive center, a top 4 RHD to replace Hronek and a power forward like Lawson Crouse or Tom Wilson. I wouldn't waste assets like a 1st round pick on anything that doesn't fill one of those holes. I might be willing to do it for a winger like Kyle Connor if the Jets were willing to trade him because of his age, played with Larkin and decent contract for 3 seasons. Maybe a big deal with Arizona if Keller wants out and they could also get Crouse in the deal. I wouldn't give up that much for Konecny or Debrincat though.

Given Buffalo hasn’t made the playoffs in years and we’re so close last year. I think they make that move all day. Tanev could help them keep the puck out of the net and they have a loaded pipe line!

Alot of people have completely given up on Zadina. Hes still only 23 years old. Obviously hes never gonna live up to 6th overall but I think he can still be a good defensive 3rd line winger that can produce 40ppy when the Wings are contenders as he will have better linemates.

Im only concerned for the Red Wings plans really.
I can't even speculate who'd be traded away, but I wonder who Stevie is going to trade FOR.
He got Draft picks for days and you KNOW they are valuable assets.
BUT i wonder WHO could come over, not break the bank, and commit to being a team player for the Yzerplan WITHIN the budget.
This is all I really care about.

Debrinkit is not coming to Detroit. Ottawa wants too much. Detroit doesn't want to give up enough for the Senators to make the trade. Debrinkit is going to the Western Conference. Maybe St. Louis. Maybe Dallas. Maybe L.A.

Turcotte really hasn't looked very good for us at all, but the circumstances have really been unfair since he literally had 2 straight concussions a year apart. I do agree that a change of scenery can really help him get back on track. Los Angeles just doesn't seem for him anymore.

LA would have to free up salary for any trade because they would be over the cap. Any deal has to include one of Iafallo, Arvidsson or Vilardi along with picks and/or prospects

That first one looks like gold to me, as a Montreal fan. Would love to see a big guy like Mantha playing for the Habs, and then see Montreal pick Reinbacher. perfect scenario.

Tanev gets more if the Flames retain cap

And Lindholm gets more than what’s offered. A late 1st (not in 2023) and Girard isn’t great. Less talented players at last years trade deadline got more than this offer. I’m certain another team pays more than this. Also the Flames don’t need more Defense. The reason they’re trading Hanifin is at least, in part, due to that area being a strength of the org.

And getting Kuznetsov does absolutely nothing for the Flames. Conroy has said this team needs to get younger and adding Kuznetsov does nothing to fulfill this vision.

- Uhh Buffalo is not getting Tanev so cheap.

- The Blues laugh their asses off, hang up, throw their phones away, fake their deaths and assume new identities JUST to avoid any possible future contact with Ottawa. Whoever sent that cannot possibly be serious with that trash offer, which creates way more problems for the Blues than it solves.

- Detroit will need to do better than that for Konecny. Obviously.

- Calgary is not taking that for Lindholm. Zero chance.

- If the Jets take that for PLD, they're idiots.

Not great stuff this time, unfortunately.

For the first debrincat trade, I don't see ottawa wanting another defenseman, also I don't see them wanting to give up kleven right now

Kings sent Durzi to Arizona, '24 2nd in return

I disagree on the Karlsson deal. Sharks will be rebuilding for a long time anyway. Just get assets.

Ott getting bent over backwards on that trade holy. K train has a decent chance to be as good as faulk, so basically trading debrincat for 25th overall

Thanks for the shout-out! Thank god you disagreed at the value. I want Michkov/Smith/Carlsson on MTL
