We can't ever see the actual results because of all the face filters on this video. We want to see the face without filters, respectfully.

Derma rolling made my skin so much worse. Gave me microscars that basically look like huge pores. Did so much damage to my skin, I regret ever trying it 😭

I actually used micro roller and cerave pm then tretinoin right after. Two times per week. Surprisingly my skin handled that really well. I can see the difference over night! I have been using tret for more than a year though.

I know this might sound crazy... But I do it with a tattoo machine and a shader needle (20 needles together) and it really faded my scars... Can't go too hard tho.. When blood comes out that means you're good and stop needling that area... It works no kidding

Thanks for sharing you story. My skin was completly ruined and destroyed due that CO2 laser procedure. I've been dealing with the side effects since 2018. It's time to share this kind of stories so that people become aware of high potential risk it implies. An even if the skin is not ruined, the structure changes forever. I wish I had been advised of that.
Regarding the needles, I think 1.5mm is quite a lot! I tried it with dermapen and the result was not such good. 1mm works excelente for me. Based on some research I've done, collagen restoration process takes 28 to complete. Maybe once a week works for you, but in many cases could be excesive

You're absolutely awesome for making this video.. ❤
I do have a Qs for you..
So, if I'm microneedling every Sunday, can I use my Retinol based eye cream mid week on Wednesdays/Thursdays?

As you mentioned, applying retinoids or actives is not recommended right after microneedling.

But is it okay to use 72 hours after a microneedling session as I don't want to completely discontinue my retinol eye cream??

Usually Dermarollers more than 1mm shouldn't use without a guidance of a Dermatologist. 🙂

How about the derma stamp instead of the derma roller, because we don't get derma rollers beyond 0.5mm in Indian market

I used to try this for a while. My recommendation is not trying to use this method on your face if you haven’t registered any classes for micro needling. Those people are trained to know how much pressures they should apply on the skin surface. Besides, finding right needling tools is also a big issues. There are many Chinese brands. They make things to sell whatever prices from some $ to hundreds of dollars without taking responsibility for their products. If you insist to try, I strongly recommend to read as many reports to see what shapes of needles are suitable for your skin, what differences of the needle materials are, length of the needles..

RF microneedling is better because its targeted, precise, controlled and goes deeper

Don't use the roller method as the roller tears the skin when it rolls up and out of the skin. This has been improved with the stamp method. I use a derminator from Sarah Vaughter - brilliant. For deeper ice pick and box car scarring the best way to get deeper is to use 80% - 100% TCA CROSS method. I've done this at home. It has improved my skin really noticeably. Don't waste your time or money with microdermabrasion or light peels they will never hit the recessed areas. TCA will encourage new collagen and skin formation. Another method is the Phenol peel but this requires a lot of down time. Good luck Imane !!!

I was at work and one of the nurses that I work with skin looked so nice. I asked her routine and she told me that she does this on her skin. May I ask where did you purchase your numbing cream from? Also, what gel cleanser and serum for afterwards? Just so I can see what works for my skin

Derma rolling doesn’t suit me bcz of my sensitive skin. I used a 0.25mm . After using my skin from red/pink turns dark after few days. Now Im using so many creams to get rid of the dark skin. 😢.

Great video. What amount of pressure do you apply when rolling?
