Actually if you go to the portal and find somebody having a raid with the other pokemon that's not in your version you can catch it. I did this and I have both Walking Wake and Iron Leaves

I have Scarlet and was able to battle and catch both iron leaves and walking wake. Our team had members from both games maybe that has something to do with it

I didn't hear it mentioned, is it confirmed that you can or can't breed vivillon with everstone to still get the same forms when breeding? I was hoping to have some access to get some good bred stats and not just have a vivillons for the sake of just being fancy (I like to make sure every pokemon I have in my living dex can be used for future needs like raids and events, and having an option to surprise trade to people or give to friends would be nice to have some consistency/control).

I solo OHKO Iron Leaves with a lvl 100 Scizor. 3 Sword dance, 1 attack cheer, X-Scissor. Full Attack EV, adamant, and life orb will help too.
