Best Holster for Mountain Biking - 5.11 Tactical Fanny Pack

Pros:
- Most Comfortable option for carrying while active
- Can fit small and large pistols and 2 magazines.
- Its concealed. I’ve taken this into stores and various public places
without drawing any extra attention or making others nervous.
- High Quality materials and zipper. This was built to last.
- Price. At around $35 it is a great value. The Kenai chest holster is
$150. The Hill people gear chest bag is $107.

Cons:
- Straps were super long and I had to cut them down
- Internal Elastic straps. It takes a significant amount of effort to fit
the band over the front of my pistol.
- Takes a little bit longer to draw. For being concealable and
comfortable this is a pretty good compromise.
- No extra Carrying capacity. This is a purpose built pouch and the
side pouches are not really usable.

I ordered it off your link. I mainly got it cause my family and I go on bike rides and I'd like to have my 43x with me just in case of an emergency. Since I don't have my concealed carry permit yet, I'm just carrying mace which for now is better than nothing. I finally do my course next weekend. Thanks for the recommendation.

Since u dont have a trigger guard on your pistol, its a good thing that it is very tight on that pistol. Thats why they made it that way. For people who would carry with one in the chamber without a holster inside of it.

The Tege paddle holsters are what I'm starting to use. The pistol is locked in place with the quick release button. Feels very secure and a slightly long t shirt allows me to conceal while still OWB because its a tight to the body holster.
Maybe the reveals itself now and then, I don't give a shit anymore. F these stupid laws. I'm carrying a gun from now on in the way it is easiest to access, while being the most comfortable and safest and OWB is the ticket.

Allow me to put in a plug for the Pistol Wear holster, I’ve done many 100’s of miles with one. Much less bulk than a fanny pack and held closer and tighter to the body so no flapping around. They come in a variety of sizes to accommodate a wide range of Guns. Mostly I carry a J Frame in the smallest one.

I've attached a pistol pouch similar to a sneaky Pete with heavy duty velcro. Right over stem on handle bar. Does not move and is easy to access. I dont want my pistol on my body and take a fall. Personal decision

If a mountain lion attack you while on your bike, you won't see it coming, and won't have time to get the gun out of the bag. However obviously would be helpful in a face to face situation

Just so you know, all the plastic buckle clip come from China. Take a look inside of your clock wall behind you on the video... all the internal components are made in China. We need to stop with the comments about Asian products have low quality. Today realistic we are surrounded by Asian products that ones arrived in the US has the labels and manuals change to English including the external label from made in China to made in the USA.
