Ordered this for my helmet mount and it works great! Instead of it sticking straight up in the air it was much better to have it closer and not be as susceptible to tree branches hitting it. I wear it snowmobiling, and unfortunately I did hit something and it broke. So I’m back ordering another.

A simple Velcro strap could take the weight off the mounting screw and I love the design. This would be perfect for my wife's fish adventures.

awesome simple idea, a simple extension around the bottom should help take the weight off the L bracket and thumbscrew. Still being minimalistic or a separate piece that clips onto the L bracket at the top, being like a C bracket holding up the center

just a suggestion (but i know you have thought of this, but if not then here it is) if it wiggles on the side because the wight is not centered then you should put an extra material on the other side to balance the weight out (like the scale in the law, or seesaw). over all such an innovative product, ride safe~

Mount is sold on Ali made from aluminium. Just bought one for X4 to use on a helmet when traveling faster on my motorcycle. Hard to tell how the footage will look, I guess the stitching will not be perfect, but getting my head not blown by the camera in counter-wind will be worth it I think.

Seems like it need some support still that puts alot of pressure on that screw with all that weight.

Instead of a L bracket just make it a U bracket where the camera can slide in to add support and stability. Keep the holder holes in the same spot! I would love to test one out for myself!
