So, the problem I see with this, at least when I tried this on my own PC is that you manually turn off your computer, the computer will not restart when you cycle the power on the plug...

I have this smart plug setup with the bios setup to restore power after power loss. I can turn on and off my computer using the smartplug app. But that means an instant power off without shutting down. That's what worries me. Are you worried of the computer not shutting down properly?

Can u somehow use virtual desktop or any app like that with the quest from example like 1 to 5 or maybe even 10 kilometers away if you just have a good internet speed? Ik that the answer to my question is most likely no, since you have to connect the quest to your pc from such a far distance away :/
