FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN' mod EVIL Girlfriend vs BF DAY 2!

This fnf week 8 mod adds a creepy lemon demon version of the bf as well as the gf from the new week 5 christmas update. This battle is between Boyfriend and Evil Gf!

This stage is a part of the EVIL mod / Corruption mod which I am developing.

All story elements aside, can we just take some time to appreciate how far this mod has come? It largely started as a reskin, but then went on to actual remixes, then fully original songs and even cinematic and different mechanics in some songs.

The delivery of that last line at [4:27], "Such a shame..." You can hear both the corruption's untamed malice and its disappointment that it has to destroy its greatest weapon! Can't wait for Day 3!!

This really does show that whatever's corrupting GF is definitely putting up a fight this time around. If I didn't know any better, I'd say the corruption is starting to get a little desperate with how hard it's looking to put BF down now. Loved how Soul is still with BF making sure he doesn't fall after how far he's come. Soul BF truly an MVP here.

I LOVE how the Corruption is making GF use illusions and her demonic powers to both drain BF of energy and try to make him think he's not making any progress on saving her! The details are AMAZING! Good on ya mate! Keep up the great work!

I like how at 3:32 you can slightly hear soul bf vocal

I think the corruption is truly pulling out all the stops here because it knows, if GF is brought back to BF, he’ll never lose. GF is all he needs to motivate him, so if GF is back with him, the corruption has basically lost.

It’s interesting to note that even though BF was losing in the middle of the song, it was not represented via the signature black goo of the corruption covering his body. I think that BF might have actually gained immunity to the corruption after breaking out, and the only way that the corruption can win at this point is by making him give up. In this song, the corruption played its final card, creating the illusion GF was fully corrupted again and taunting him with the messages on the walls. Luckily for the Corruption, it’s last-ditch plan somehow managed to work and BF fully gave himself up. However, only a couple of seconds after he gave up, Soul BF came to the rescue and managed to reignite BF’s hope again, and so the corruptions desperate gambit failed.

Prior to 3:16 you'll notice that there are little motes that emit from BF and get absorbed by Evil GF. It's safe to assume that this is his sanity, and now that it's weakened the Corruption can freely infiltrate BF's mind. Another interesting thing is that the static in Soul BF's part as it could be a possible reference to the massive screen in the background of Soul BF's Week. We could be taking the Corruption's perspective and realising that recorrupting BF is next to impossible as he has Soul BF on his side. Shortly after we'd be kicked out of BF's mind after he's motivated again and he gains a massive morale boost.

One thing that sets this mod apart from a lot of the others is it tells a story through the visuals in the songs itself for the most part. This is what I found originally appealing about the original game. Sure there wasn’t much to that, but your imagination could fill in the gaps. This takes that to the next level.

3:34 you can hear soul bf trying to keep bf going “Nuh uh boy. You ain’t giving up after we’ve come this far!” Even when BF is on the verge of giving up, soul bf keeps pushing him. Soul BF is truly the MVP here. Can’t wait to see what Day 3 looks like

Literally each time I see this series get a new update. My soul is filled with a new sense of life once more. Loving this series.

I love how, when Soul BF shows up, Boyfriend realizes that he may have nothing, but that means he has nothing left to lose, so he may as fight right to the bitter end.

This mod is the perfect example of "Less Is more." There are no gimmick notes, no OCs, just an amazing story with the main characters we have grown to love over the last 2 years. Thank you, Ninjamuffin and Phantom Fear, for this amazing game and mod.

Edit: Ok, I see the people in The replies didn't get the message. I never said that OC's in a mod was bad. In fact, it can add creativity and give your mod an identity. What I *meant* to say was that a nice mod with classic characters can be nice and relaxing for new players who don't want to destroy their fingers.

I'm loving how it's not a one sided fight. BF is constantly being tested and on the edge. He literally has to save everyone and the very first person he fights is GF. If he can overcome her tho, both of them definitely can save everyone else.

3:36 Love how Boyfriend's voice is hi-pass-filtered at first, but when Demon BF comes in to help him and Boyfriend gains more hope, Boyfriend's voice is clear again.
