FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN' mod EVIL Boyfriend vs BF FINAL BATTLE!

This fnf week 7 mod adds a creepy lemon demon version of the bf as well as the gf from the new week 5 christmas update. This is the finale of the battle of Corrupt Boyfriend vs himself!

This stage is a part of the EVIL mod / Corruption mod which I am developing.

Story:
After the fight against Daddy Dearest, BF's mind has regained consciousness. With soul bf gone, boyfriend must fight to maintain it on his own.

So Evil BF is actually trying to CHALLENGE BF, not necessarily DEFEAT him. To rekindle that spark in his heart that lets him be so confident in the face of any kind of trouble.

Love how the beginning is Boyfriend slowly and solemnly fighting his way back out of the corruption, before Soul BF jumps right in like "HELL YEAH!" and destroys the place.
The BF's all confused for a second until he gets thwacked in the face with a guitar.

can't believe it's been 2 years since this song came out it still blows my mind the amount of work and care and effort that was put into it. It may not be my favourite song in this mod (that's a tricky one to think about since they're all amazing in their own way) but it's definitely the best soul bf song and I'm glad this is when I started following this amazing mod.

I just love how boyfriend started loosing hope when the evil voice (red text, possibly the corruption) Says he'll never see his friends again and the soul boyfriend (seems everyone has a liking to that name) just says, Are you planning on giving up? And Bf's like, Hell Nah and gets motivated again and soul just says, didnt think so, The power of epic guitar solos is the key!

Epic final song! In my opinion, the VS Evil Boyfriend has the best overall day 1, 2, 3 of all FNF mods and FNF classical game.

Aight, boys, the finale is upon us! Let's review the story so far:

This whole thing kicked off during the events of Friday Night Funkin Week 5, when Girlfriend was infected with a mysterious virus that corrupted her. This virus presumably originated from Lemon Demon, as it was in his parallel world that she was infected. She then infects Boyfriend with this virus, and when the two of them are transported back to their real world, they wreak havoc in the mall, corrupting everyone in sight. Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest manage to escape the newborn outbreak, as does Pico, though not before he gets half-infected. Boyfriend and Girlfriend chase him through the city streets, and this is where we get our firsthand look at how Boyfriend's new evil soundwaves can accelerate the Corruption.

Pico puts up a good fight, even when half-corrupted, but let his guard down when Evil Boyfriend slightly uncorrupted to give him a glimpse at his old friend. This moment of weakness allowed the evil duo to overpower him with the Corruption, forcing him to join their ranks. However, Pico isn't fully controlled by the Corruption, and in a stuggle for physical control, Pico trails off on his own and goes on a rampage, attacking anything in sight and getting tangled up in chains in the process. Meanwhile, Evil Boyfriend and Girlfriend continue their mission to corrupt the world, and this sinister quest leads them to a haunted mansion.

There, they find Skid, who is attempting to figure out why his friend Pump has had a change in costume...and as Boyfriend and Girlfriend enter the room, he gets his answer. Unwilling to leave his friend's side, Skid makes an attempt to fight their assailants, but as Pump has already been corrupted, his symphony is to no avail. The dread of the inevitable crawls along Skid's face as he begins to cry, knowing there was nothing he could do as he was overpowered by the Corruption. Satisfied with the easy victory, Boyfriend and Girlfriend make their way to their house, determined not to let a living soul live uncorrupted.

Meanwhile, Pico's rampage has led him to the Dearest limousine parking lot, where he encounters Mommy Mearest, who'd been hiding inside the vehicle to avoid an encounter with the Corruption. Had anyone else attempted to find her, they would've been unsuccessful. Pico, however, sniffed her out, unloading a magazine from his gun into the limo, forcing her out. She also put up a good fight, keeping her body pure of the Corruption for the duration of the first song. But her luck would run out as Pico demonstrated the effectiveness of soundwave infection to begin overpowering her. And as we've witnessed previously, once the Corruption starts infecting, it doesn't stop. And that is the case with Mommy Mearest, who is fully corrupted by the time Pico wanders off again to regroup with Boyfriend and Girlfriend.

At the Dearest household, Boyfriend and Girlfriend make their way to Girlfriend's room to find Hating Simulator on the computer, exactly what they were looking for. Boyfriend forces his soul into the game, one line of code at a time, and encounters Senpai in the same fashion they would have had he and Girlfriend not been corrupted. Everything seems normal for Senpai at first, until Boyfriend begins glitching and loses his face, Girlfriend becoming frozen as a black box covered her face, and that's when he realizes the world around him is beginning to deteriorate. He tries fighting for Girlfriend's honor at first, until she lets out a shriek letting him know he's all alone in his fight. In a bargain for his life, he tells Boyfriend to take the girl and leave him alone. Of course, that's not Boyfriend's intention, as Senpai realizes when he attempts to delete his assets. Enraged at the increasingly unsettling form Boyfriend is taking, Senpai goes Spirit mode on him, forcing Girlfriend out of the game as the code crumbles around him and his assailant. He fights valiantly, but as his foe doesn't relent no matter what he threw at him, he is forced to accept his fate as Boyfriend deletes his data. As Boyfriend reemerges from the computer, he realizes there's only one major threat left to face: Daddy Dearest.

Boyfriend leaves Girlfriend at the Dearest household as he travels alone to the very same stage he'd first faced her father on. There he stands, waiting for his arrival. Having witnessed all the Corruption's dark deeds, Daddy Dearest begins to battle Boyfriend, keeping the Corruption at bay within the slowly crumbling stage. As he laments those who have fallen, the Corruption begins to creep around his body, beginning to overtake him, but he doesn't give in. He manages to reverse the effects of the Corruption on himself and shrink the dark spots as he begins his final deathmatch, unleashing all he has upon Boyfriend. However, it's the arrival of Pico, Skid and Pump that throw him off guard, as he can barely make his stand against several corrupted characters. Nevertheless, he manages to persevere even through this, until, of course, the arrival of Mommy Mearest. Seeing her corrupted form breaks Daddy Dearest, and as his darling wife duets with him, Boyfriend recovers from Daddy's attacks and stands back up to finish the job, as at this point the Corruption has nearly overtaken the final line of defense. With the walls crumbled and the armies of the corrupted surrounding them, Daddy Dearest finally gives in, allowing for the world to be overpowered by the Corruption.

But that's not where the story ends. Because of the intensity of the fight with Daddy Dearest, Evil Boyfriend becomes exhausted, and this moment of weakness allows the real Boyfriend to regain consciousness. Awakened by a mysterious voice, the dormant Boyfriend finds himself trapped within his own mind, where a TV screen shows his corrupted form struggling with an internal battle that was about to unfold. Finding that his foe was an evil variant of himself, Boyfriend began doing what he did best, rap battling with himself in a battle to maintain his consciousness. As the fight progresses, his corrupted form realizes what's going on, and does everything in his power to weaken the newly awakened Boyfriend and make him fall back to sleep. However, his corrupted soul kept the pressure up, trying to ensure that he would stay awake and continue fighting to regain control of himself. Upon learning this, Evil Boyfriend's mind makes the soul fade away, leaving Boyfriend alone in the confines of his subconscious. All alone within the dark caverns of his corrupted subconscious, Boyfriend hears a voice in the midst of his period of exhaustion, telling him to give up and go back to sleep while the Corruption continues to wreak havoc on the world. Despite his increasing weariness, Boyfriend refuses, fighting to maintain his consciousness. Suddenly, a crack appears in the air in front of him, and with a bolt of yellow lighting, Soul BF emerges from the new hole, whaling away at an electric guitar. He yeets one at Boyfriend, who becomes energized as their Round 2 officially begins. Their combined musical energy begins to tear down the caves around them, but the voice of the Corruption also fights to make him fall asleep again, telling him that all his friends were gone and his life belonged to it. Boyfriend is temporarily weakened by this, but Soul BF refuses to let him fall so easily, continuously energizing him with the power of music and encouraging words. Eventually, cracks of light appear around them as the background falls back away, revealing the same room with the TV screen from earlier. With the song ended and having broken free from the curse of the Corruption, BF and Soul BF slam their guitars on the ground and begin to make their escape.

I swear this was the best episode of the whole freaking series, the team’s hard work on this one payed off and I actually can’t believe they have Soul Bf a voice and it’s interesting to hear like damn, the team really has to go all out on this one. I liked the part where Soul Bf and Bf just smashed their guitars like they just won a show. This episode was such a bop, in fact this whole series was a bop. Can’t wait for the “Escape” part, it’ll be awesome!

I like the constant theme of ‘waking up’ across these videos in BF’s POV. BF only starts fighting back against the corruption once he regains consciousness. The corruption tells BF to ‘go to sleep’ as if that’ll let the corruption take full control over his body and mind while Soul tells BF to “WAKE UP!” Obviously encouraging him to fight against the corruption. It seems that the victim being awake allows the corruption to have much less control.
