This tutorial shows you how to convert the MBR partition to GPT. The GUID Partition Table is needed to install Windows 11 as Windows 11 does not allow the usage of MBR.
The tutorial shows you the commands needed to run in CMD and then explains the process on how to enable Secure Boot and UEFI in the BIOS setup. BIOS setups can be different dependent on the computer's manufacture and for me I have an ASUS ROG motherboard.
If your BIOS Mode states Legacy in System information, converting the MBR to GPT will update the BIOS Mode to UEFI.

Hi, when I try to convert my MBR to GPT it is showing that:

MBR2GPT: Attempting to validate disk 0
MBR2GPT: Retrieving layout of disk
MBR2GPT: Validating layout, disk sector size is: 512 bytes
Disk layout validation failed for disk 0

Hi there! System Reserved it is not a residual partition from MBR? GPT still need it? It is used or unused in GPT?

For me it says that no Partition was found. How can I fix that

My system reserved is on a different disk to my C drive meaning the command fails with the error unable to find OS partition. I have been unable to fix this.

Hello thanks for the video! I have a question about the installation of win11. When I'll delete the drive partitions, should I delete this GPT partition too? Just being extra cautious so that I don't screw this up
