Did you answered the MIT optional essays? HELP I'm writting my MIT essays and I've answered some of the optional prompts bcs some of them I felt that it was necessary, but there are some other prompts that I just don't know how to answer. For the prompt about how you did something for family or community all you did was describe ymca. You really didn’t describe the impact you actually made. If you summarize it, it would just be you saying you worked at ymca. So I’m. Wondering what makes an essay effective. The content? Or just have the admission officers interested with your writing?
