I just had my first ever runner's high today. I was nearing the end of my 15 minute run and was at 5.0 when I realized I was feeling good and turned it up to 5.5. Suddenly I realized I wanted more, I felt so good, and I turned it up to 6.0, faster than I had ever run on a treadmill before. I actually felt my body scream "KEEP GOING!" when it hit 15 minutes, so I ran for a minute more, and I felt it wear off 45 seconds after. One of the best feelings I've ever had, I want more.

I think it comes from way back when we chased down our food. It was that extra little boost we needed to not let our food get away

Bruh, I run for an hour, sit down for five minutes and I feel like I'm gonna pass out.
I'm not fat, I'm not lazy, I eat health, but I go completely light headed with minimal running and then my vision is completely fucked.
I can do any other exercise for hours longer and I'm fine.

It's not endorphins it's the cannabinoids

This video is misinformation. Endorphins are unable to pass through the blood brain barrier that would elicit these effects. Endocannabinoids on the other hand do pass the blood brain barrier as they are lipids. They are also released in great number into the bloodstream with right kind of running. This is much more likely to be the cause of the "runners high" and not endorphins as stated in the video. The more you know!

There's only two types of running I know. It's when I run out of weed, and run to get some more.

I'm the worst runner now, but when I used to run, I had it two times. It was amazing. I ran two or three of the usual rounds and actually felt really happy and amazing and wanted to hug people.

I run a lot due to boxing, I enjoy running a lot tho I discover this recently lol. When I am not busy or have nothing to do I’ll go for a light jog. The only runners high I got is feelings that you could run a longer distance than you thought, and that feels really good lol

15 mins into my run I am like meh, no, I can't do any more, 20 mins in I'm like OK, I think I can get to 30... at 30 I'm like I can go Forever!!!! I'm going to push further. After a run I feel good all day.
