I don’t quite see how hashtags above the title benefit video creators. Don’t they encourage viewers to click away from the video they’re watching? They benefit viewers because they help them find other videos they’re interested in. But how do hashtags above the title help creators who want to keep viewers in their channel? Sure you can use your own unique slogan as a hashtag, but how is that any different from or better than viewers clicking on your channel profile? If I can use hashtags and have them NOT appear above the title, then cool, because they don’t encourage viewers to stop watching the current video, and your video still ends up in search results for that hashtag. So again I don’t see the benefit of having hashtags above the title. Maybe someone can explain?
