As a Floridian, Florida man needs to learn the difference between a hurricane and a tornado.

6:40 the way he was in a tornado and still complained about slow cars...

Like how the dude in Florida kept calling other drivers “dumb asses” when he himself drove blithely right into harms way.

HOW DID THE FLORIDIAN GUY NOT KNOW WHAT A TORNADO LOOKED OR WHAT IT WAS? LIKE??? ALSO WHY WERE THERE NO SIRENS???

The fact that he calls them dumbassess even though the tornado is RIGHT NEXT TO HIM tells me his attention to details is 0 and he may not be the brightest bulb.

The correct method for abandoning your car with powerlines on it, is somewhat different. As you said, ONLY abandon the car if it starts to catch fire. But if it does? 1. Remove your seatbelt and open the door all the way. 2. Stand on the EDGE of the frame. Use the door for support, but do NOT touch the ground! 3. When you are ready, let go of the car and *hop down and land on both feet at the same time* Don't try to jump far! You want to land in a stable position, with your feet close together. *WARNING! You may feel a tingle. Don't panic and try to run* or you'll be dead. 4. Keep your feet flat on the ground, then shuffle away from the car, heels no farther forward than the back of your toes. Try not to rush, stay calm, keep stable, and shuffle your way to safety. If your feet spread, that will create a difference in electrical potential, and you'll go up like a blowtorch. Keep shuffling away until you are at least 30 feet away from the wires.

Imagine yelling at people and calling them morons and dumb asses and then you follow that up with the statement "I was just in a hurricane dude" after driving through yourself in what is clearly a tornado.

If Mr. Florida was flying thru that tornado, he'd be saying exactly the same thing to the alligators flying in front of him.

1:20 If you are a trucker and ever end up in a high risk to tip over by wind, Jack knife your truck with the back of the cabin facing the wind. This will shield you from debris and stop your trailer from tipping over. Your cabin may get some damage but you will guarantee your trailer to not flip over.

I think you misunderstood bushfires, it's the Aussie version of wildfires. Not a brush fire, which is usually smaller scale.

Why didn't the other fire truck move when it saw the fire coming at them along with the other truck?

As an Australian (NSW born, QLD resident), "burnover" is absolutely the last thing you want to hear any fireperson say when on duty. The view you see in that video, is far better than our fire men and women saw that day. Or any day they fight our bush fires. They would have been lucky to see even a meter in front of them at the time. Also, we dont have "brush" fires, they're bush fires. They consume so much of our bushland and destroy alot of our native animals homes, as well as killing our native animals. Thankfully it does help sprout fresh new greenery, but it swallows so much established bushland at the same time, and only mother nature and time can replace the animals lost to the bushfires. Summer is our worst time for bushfires, cos we can get over 50°C (120°F-ish) in places.

If you're ever in a pile-up, the WORST thing you can do is get out of your car. You might get lucky and can scramble to safety. But, if you misjudge when to make your escape, you could be pancaked between 2 cars. Your car is designed to save your life in an accident.

We live in Clarksville. This tornado came through my neighborhood and a lot of homes were lost. We are still awaiting our home to be ready to move back into. People also lost their lives that day. 😢 Stay safe out there and stay aware!!!

Pro tip: if a power line goes down, drive AWAY from it. Not toward it.
