To make it a little easier for applying the sausage we will form it out into a rectangle that will cover the bread and cook it like a big hamburger. It is nice because it stays intact and each bite is perfect, we do the same with the eggs, into a silicone pan try it out

looks good, but seasoning the sausage *after* cooking it in the pan - just no. That seasoning needs to he sopped up (absorbed) in the meat BEFORE it hits the sandwich!

The egg squares are neater...you can use a metal cupcake tin for an Egg maybe 2 and bake a smaller sample...

Just mix the sausage, egg and cheese in the frying pan, top across your slider rolls and then bake them. Much faster and less work. Looks great.
