The High Court has declared lockdown alert Level 3 and 4 regulations unconstitutional and invalid. The court suspended the declaration of invalidity for 14 days, which means that Level 3 regulations remain for now.
Reyno de Beer, who lodged the court challenge on behalf of the Liberty Fighters network speaks further on the issue.

This woman is a ANC mouthpiece. Her style of journalism in this case is deplorable!

Thank you to the High Court!
I personally don't appreciate job losses incurred by healthy people. They were supposed to have used Lockdown level 5 to prepare hospitals, quarantine the vulnerable and isolate those who are infected while in treatment.
Some people and businesses were refused aid, those tasked with distributing food parcels stole the food, in some rural places there was not enough water supply, Collins Khosa was killed by soldiers and they got away with it.
The retail industry was a mess; how do you justify telling people what they can and cannot buy.
We are not worth R350!!!
Some of us could have worked the same way that some essential service employees worked; with care and caution!

Thank goodness for the court, sad that government did't care to consider the people and there has been the need for so many court actions. I hope the will be a huge reshuffle on government and ministers are held accountable for their behavior as well as reminded of course that they work for us. How about pay cuts for the ministers to help cover the costs of these legal actions and the huge losses their decisions caused.
