Fun fact: Ultima means “the end”, “the last”, or just “final” and the word Mythos (which he calls Clive) mean “Fantasy” so if they merged like Ultima wanted they’d be a “Final Fantasy”. Also makes sense to why the last weapons are also called the Ultima in a square Enid game.

Not a bad Honest trailer; I'm suprised y'all didn't poke fun of the (Pokemon gym) badges you earn in each new place... That system made me laugh.

Honestly this is one of the most fair reviews of the game I've seen yet. I had a blast, and while I've got my own criticisms of the game (mostly focused around the shallow gearing system), I'm really bewildered by some of the pure hate the game has gotten for things that have been in every FF game since III.

That 'contentiousness' line is real!
Just returned from FFXIV Fanfest and spoke with someone who won't sniff at 16 because there's no ATB system. Folks never argue whether the story and themes're true to FF...just the shiny UI and system.
