Russian interference in Niger coup not likely, says German spokesperson

"We have no knowledge that Russian forces played a role in the coup in Niamey."

German foreign ministry spokesperson, Sebastian Fischer, says there are no signs of Russian interference with Niger, but there has been an increase in "pro-Russian disinformation in connection with the coup."
