Louisville native here. I SWEAR there’s some good stuff here!… but yeah, you came across some of the more basic attractions.

As a Kentuckian, hearing someone say Louisville right makes my day.

Me and my mom went to Cave Hill Cemetery on this trip and it was probably one of the best things we did (other than the Garfield stuff ofc). We had this tour guide who basically explained all of the symbolism on the graves and stuff and we even got to see Colonel Sanders' grave which was kinda wild 😭 If you ever go back you should definitely check it out-- it was honestly so pretty! I think I'd rank it above Arlington even

Local Louisville gal here. The tourist trap sucks. Downtown louisville sucks. If you’re still here, try Toasty’s Tavern in Germantown. Best burger and fries you can get.

Born and raised in Louisville. Didn’t even know there was a Garfield fest

i live in louisville and yeah- there's not a lot of great tourist traps apart from the zoo or the little comic con they do annually

Caufield's Novelty (the costume shop) kicks ass most of the Animatronics are designed in house, that random staircase is a recreation of the one in The Munsters house, complete with an animatronic dragon that is activated by a secret switch, and it a Masterful shitpost, while the Louisville Slugger Factory and museum down the street boasts the world’s largest baseball bat, Caufield's has on the side of the building the World’s largest bat, as in the Animal. It is a store of Great Significance.

Why the hell does the Frazier have a Jack Harlow exhibit? I haven't been there for something like 12 years, so maybe I missed something.

This GarGathering presents a fascinating question. "Would you rather: Meet Garfield IRL or Never step foot in Louisville in your life?" To be completely honest, they both have massive up sides. Not sure which one I'd choose.
