SCRUB: Starship SN8 Scrubs Attempt at 12.5km Test Flight

SpaceX is attempting to fly Starship SN8 to an altitude of approximately 12.5 kilometers. The launch time is subject to change due to the fluid nature of the testing. The flight should occur sometime between 9 am and 5 pm Central time. Following liftoff, Starship SN8 will attempt a propulsive landing on SpaceX's landing zone located next to the launch pad.

Great stream guys. The one benefit of my high school having online learning is to be able to watch for hours. I also noticed that when you were live I couldn’t find the stream in YT search results at all. Even when copying the title word for word it didn’t show.

There was two flashes just before the abort.. in between the raptor engines.. one on the right happened first.. then on the left side of the raptor engines just as the last few seconds were counting down.. Check the video and tell me if you see the flashes.. I believe these flashes caused the abort.. May have over chilled the mechanism to giving lite to those raptor engines.. Those cry temps to chill those engines are really really cold temps..
