I put a 4 core Champion radiator and the dual fans with shroud in my 73 Chevy C30 fuel injected 454 Pick up. Its got a small cam in it but its pretty stock as builds go. First time out and its getting up to 240 and only 75 to 80 degree weather. Im in Las Vegas and its gonna get a lot hotter( 115 to 120 degrees) and the test was with out the AC on. So we are now looking at other fan set ups to bring the temps down. Looks like a great set up in my truck but its not woring well at all. Very disapointing.

98 chevy 1 ton with a 350 constant overheat on stock radiator pulling 20, 000lbs no problems with power just needed more cooling. Dropped a 5 core Desil radiator in it never ever goes over 180 degrease. What happens if you run to big a radiator can it damage the engine?

I've purchased 2 champion radiators in the past, but eventually they both started leaked at the bottom.

I have a Champion radiator in my 1999 Jeep Cherokee and it can not cool my jeep down in Arizona. I got a lift big axles and 35" tires. Also the Engine is brand new with a flowkooler water pump. Not sure what OEM is but the 0.75" tubes in teh Champion are not up to the task of cooling a lifted cherokee on 35" in an Arizona summer. If you are serious about cooling for starters I would look at a Radiator with at least a 1" tube design on a dual core or even bigger tubes on a single core design. All in all Champion radiators are not very good and you get what you pay for.

I ordered a Champion radiator and it leaked right out of the box. Champion sent a replacement, I installed it and it leaked also. I gave up and ordered another brand....Thanks Champion.
