Potato pancakes are very popular in the world. You can taste juicy Irish bacstaí, modern Korean gamja-jeon, and of course traditional Ukrainian deruny. This dish is made of potato, onion, eggs and tastes really unique. Besides traditional variant, Ukrainian hostesses cook such dish with sweet potato to make it like a dessert.
Ingredients:
6 potatoes
1 egg
3 tablespoons of flour
1 onion
oil
Salt, paper
bicarbonate de soude et vinaigre de cidre de pomme (facultatif)
1 package of sour cream

This dish is made of potato, onion, eggs and tastes really unique. Peel potatoes and onion and grate them. Beat up an egg and combine it with potato. Add salt, flour and mix everything properly. Heat the sunflower oil in the pan and pour the potato mixture in the form of the round pancakes. Fry until one side of the pancake gets a golden color and then turn over.
Serve deruny with sour cream.
