The scientist in the middle is not getting enough credit. The body language was incredible. He was listening and you can see the validation of some statements, annoyance of others, questioning with most of it like, "Where is he going with this?" Amazing acting from everyone in the end even the crowd.

When the host asked "And if that were to happen", it seems like it was a genuine question. Not a question for the show, but a question coming from actual fear towards the scenario that the epidemiologist is describing.

I feel like this is what separates this show from all other "zombie" stories. In shows like "The Walking Dead" they had no idea what was happening so there was still hope for a cure. This show kills all prospects of hope in the first 5 minutes

They don’t look scared, none chatting with eachother, none covering their mouths or in shock, or laughing at him, they’ve all got dead straight faces looking almost blank and staring unblinkingly in the same direction. Idk, it was something that caught me when I first watched it, idk if I’m seeing things
