So the outer box wasn't damaged but the inner box was damaged? Well, putting on my Shelock Holmes hat here. Post office told me once, if your box contents could get damaged if the box was thrown 4 feet, it's not packaged well enough. My rule is, if your item can't survive being placed on a football tee and kicked through a goal post, it's not packed well enough. Good content. Thanks.

Is it more to insure with Ship Cover? USPS insurance SUCKS. Damaged item. Wanted buyer to take damaged box and damaged contents down to post office for inspection, fill out some stupid form. WTH? Who's got time to do that? If Ship Cover is easier I'll go with them from now on even if they are a little more. So you just check the Ship Cover box, enter the value of the item, and your off to the races? If you could answer, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I can't say I've ever had a USPS insurance claim. I've sold a couple hundred items too. I did have a UPS claim once but that was when I was a buyer, not a seller.

So when Shipcover paid out, did they pay you as seller or did they pay the buyer? I cannot find this answer!! I don't want to send buyer a refund if ShipCover also refunds them.

e-bay sucks because if you buy something and the usps screws up and delivers it to someone eles they just say it was delivered and deny your claim

When you file it asks for a PayPal address where it will issue the refund. Do you use the buyers PayPal or the sellers PayPal who then refunds the buyer? Any answer would be helpful.. USPS lost my package big
