For those who don't know, this place is called Svalbard. It is a group of islands owned by Norway, which is about the size of Ireland. The area is very mountainous and cold, and the Northern Lights are seen the most here. Although sort of large in its size, it only has a few thousand people, with, on average, 1 person per 22 square kilometers (13 and a half miles) In Svalbard, every 6 months the light goes through a process. One half of the year there's no sunlight, and the other half there's only sunlight. If you want to visit somewhere cold this winter, the prices for hotels can range from ~1, 000NOK to ~5, 000NOK (1, 000NOK=$93USD) This place is full of wildlife and is a great remote area. Overall 9.2/10 for visiting😄

I used to live in Alaska, and I got to experience this firsthand. The dead of winter was permanent night, with the northern lights waving and dancing overhead.
In the summer the sun will circle you like a vulture anticipating his next meal.
The experience is otherworldly. I'd recommend it at least once for people that have wanderlust.

I was in Norway for a week over the summer on a cruise, didn’t see nighttime the whole trip, the sun was always at the horizon. It was beautiful :D

Right place for people like me because I feels calm, relax, quiet, peaceful, and wiser during dusk when there is lesser noises and activities compared to dawn. In dawn everything disturbs my peace by it's activeness and noises. And I hate sun heat even though it's source of life.
