AWESOME INSTRUCTIONS! This worked for Windows 10 also. Wife has a laptop that has the Update Options on shutdown menu and for some reason the systems crashes every time she hits that option. Now all that is there is the standard Restart/Shutdown! MANY THANKS!

Wait when I type shutdown -s -t 0 my pc was shutdown but after that there is activity of Windows update, working on update Don't turn off your computer. Is it working? Bro I think it's not working man
