Your singing and songwriting is underrated bro

Mike dean effect. This is how he got sicko mode so loud. Pushing the final master through analog gear a couple db hot( your audio interface) and printing through that to get your extra volume.

You have single-handedly changed my whole outlook on production.

Amazing seeing all the sauce that’s out here applied. Great idea and I love how proactive you are about your mixing. Super intentional and great explanations. Your hand movements always pissed me off and your exaggerated expressions but I apologize. I have come around and I really appreciate you giving so much sauce out to the community because God knows people do not like sharing the sauce they’ve worked hard to acquire. I plan on doing the same as I continue learning. 🙏🏽thanks Devvon, the whole game thanks you

Devvon, thank you for reminding me about this trick. I wanted to do it on a bigger scale and better gear, but didn't realize I could do it regardless of interface and it would sound great either way. I would challenge you to do that same technique before mastering to see different results. I once saw the same technique but the guy took his fully mixed song and pumped it into API preamps, then back to his computer, then he mastered that new audio.

Did this once by mistake. Thanks for showing the steps. Very dope! Now I know why it works. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is great for UAD hardware. You can use unison technology on the pre amps to emulate clipping a vintage pre amp/channel strip.

Can you make a tutorial where you create space around a vocal using like a H Delay or any delay plugin instead of Reverb?!

Hey Devvon great tutorial! I don’t mean to be repetitive or rush you or anything I was just wondering if you would make a video on how to market yourself as a small artist‼️

I will run the signals in a tube Headphones preamp and add them beside the original tracks and find the sweet spot between the 2 versions.I was wondering how to experiment with those little amps and you gave me the idea...cheers man. great song writing and all by the way.

Please, Devon I'm unable to do this with my Focusrite 18i20. Is it possible that the trick be written down step by step please?
