When you live in segregated communities that listen go rhe negative portrayal of certain groups and are socialized to believe these portrayals, you develop these ideologies that are true to you with recourse, you then take those ideologies out in the world and apply them to every individual in that particular group without pushaback because you're surrounded by other people that agree and support those claims, you then keep alive damaging stereotypes that causes more harm than good
