From 2012 thru 2018, Oakland's Operation Ceasefire reduced homicides over 40% What made Operation Ceasefire work was accountability by those running the program. This time around, who's going to be in charge and facing the music should things keep going south? It should be the Chief of Dept of Gun Violence Prevention. We shall see.
