in my opinion tzuyu's stage presence was completely destroyed after that big taiwan controversy (btw that apology video is just horrible and scary) and imagine a 16-17 year old girl suffering a huge wave of hate as she suffered, for me obviously all that affected her a lot including her stage presence

whenever this gets brought up, i immediately think of yeri. she was so passionate and bubbly during her debut. her first ever fancam for ICC is the cutest thing, just pure joy.

Momo had that vocal mess up during an encore stage. She even looked shocked after she sang. She got tons of hate afterwards. Previous encore stages were fine but after that her singing was really quiet and hesitant.

Jeongyeon too, u would think she was a lead dancer in Twice's early career.

Tzuyus confidence also dropped real bad cause of the big issue with the Taiwan/Chinese thing too! And people kept bullying her saying she’s all looks with no talent. Also Momo was bullied after the more and more encore which made her lose confidence in singing and even talking on the mic. She has a real beautiful natural voice when singing in a comfortable range.

Tzuyu is another great example of why you shouldn’t debut kids so early. I’m not saying she’s not talented or undeserving, she’s great. But kids are not prepared for all the horrible things that come their way and they absolutely do not deserve the cruelties of the world.

jeongyeon too :( her health issues made it difficult when she returned, but she also lost confidence due to the amount of hate she got. when you compare a scientist fancam to yes or yes fancams you can see how much she enjoyed being on stage and how much she shined. but her health is improving and she really shined this comeback :) our jeongyeon is back

I don't get why ppl say Lia is a bad dancer like most of these ppl don't even dance.

When I was watching Lia in Dalla Dalla and Icy eras, she didn't appear to be a bad dancer for me... People started harshly criticizing her during Wannabe promotions and her confidence went downhill. Of course, Lia is the weakest dancer in Itzy BUT we have to admit that this group consists of EXTREMELY strong dancers and performers and Lia's dancing style – soft, feminine – isn't suitable for hard af choreos. Btw, main vocalist doesn't have to outdance everyone in their group... Kpop fans should chill at this point like think twice before saying something because their words may hurt idols and cause psychological problems, depression... Is that what y'all want?

I think tzuyu is finally recovering from everything that happened to her, people have no empathy for anyone!! Something was clearly wrong with her! But instead of trying to help, they kept telling that she didn't deserve to be a lead dancer, that she was just a visual and that she had no talent! If you still think that, check out the old fancams and draw your own conclusions....

Tzuyu’s hurts so bad 😢 She used to smile and visibly enjoy being on stage to a degree that could rival Jihyo. After the Taiwan flag incident especially, she really retreated into herself in almost all areas - she only seemed happy or like she was enjoying herself when she’s caught talking to Twice members. That’s said! I do think that lately, she’s been progressing a lot again. Her vocals have improved in the past year especially and even though she’s not who she used to be, she’s much more alive on stage than she’s been in probably the last 5 years. She’s getting confidence back little by little.

I just see JYPE not protecting their people from harassment and bullying.

I appreciate this video because i sometimes see ppl hating on Tzuyu's stage presence and it's so frustrating. She's been an idol for nearly a decade and she's only 24 years old. Imagine going through the hellscape that was the survival show sixteen, being sexualized as a minor, being stuck in the middle of a political controversy (that was escalated by a middle aged man) because u waved a flag, and ppl reducing you to just a pretty face, all before you graduated high school. And then after all that, ppl just want to rate her stage presence when she's in a nine member group.

Giving hate to poor idols is really unnecessary, their confidence is getting lower and we can clearly see it :(

So much of performing and dancing is confidence. Crushing an idols confidence is like cutting a bird’s wings.
I’m sad they had to deal with so much hate
