Comedians React To Meeting Pope Francis

Graeme O'Neil takes a look at how Whoopi Goldberg, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, and Chris Rock reacted to being part of a private audience with the Pope to recognize the importance of comedy in society.

I think that anytime you put a bunch of comedians in the room, you get a lot of laughter. As long as their presence brings more good to humanity, it is a good thing.

I think it was Jim Gaffigan who played along with Jimmy and told him to sit down. Jim was there sitting in the row behind Jimmy😂😂😂

One of my favorite comedians, Mike Birbiglia, was also there. He's less famous than many of the others, but mightve been invited becasue he is catholic, or at least grew up catholic. I'm not sure to what extent he is practicing. He's the guy in between Chris Rock and JLD in the group shot at 3:42.

I’m an atheist but I would love to actually meet the Pope. I disagree with most of his beliefs but I believe he’s a good man. Comedy is necessary in our lives, especially now.
