New York Zodiac Killer Evaded Cops for Years

Between 1989 and 1996, the serial killer the New York Zodiac killed three people and injured five in attacks across the boroughs. The New York Zodiac targeted his victims based on their zodiac signs and pulled inspiration from the Zodiac killer, the infamous serial killer who terrorized Northern California in the '60s. The New York Zodiac left letters taunting police, the press and his victims. In the latest "New York Gritty," Sal Bono explores the wild case of the New York Zodiac.

Lmao, I’m laughing because recently someone told me I was bs’n when I told them as a kid there was a killer in NYC that killed you based on your zodiac sign. We used to scare each other as kids whenever someone birthday was coming up 😂 I knew I remembered this as a child. I remember seeing the letter on tv! I remember this case, craziest part is how he somehow knew the victims birthdays despite having no known connections to them.

I remember how scary this was. He only would have been found out a fraud if he killed two people of the same sign, which didn’t happen. Just because you drop out of school, it doesn’t mean you’re stupid. It means, at least, you have challenges with conformity.
