Reminder that Rein can’t one shot 250 health and above characters when he has to throw himself at them then hit a wall; meanwhile Roadhog can do this from the other end of the earth without being at basically any risk at all.

i have been a rein main for a while and the most satisfying moment is probably going 1v1 against another rein and using the ult when the other's shield is off so i can stun somebody and when he uses it keep the shield up to block it and letting him know whose the alpha

Rein is a tank stuck in ow1 but put in ow2 just like mcree, and i love him for it. The feeling you get from getting potg despite how bad he has it (especially if there is an Orisa on the other team) is comparable to beating an Elden Ring boss after only dying a couple of times.

rein for sure needs buffs, and i firmly believe noone would be mad if he was strong in the meta since he is basically always fun to play as and against

Reinhardt is pretty simple mechanically but has always been one of the best characters to learn to work on your game knowledge. If you push up too far as Rein you will regret it. If you're too far away from the enemies you're literally useless. Perfect character to learn positioning and timing in the game.

I love rein and play him to this day with some good games but I can see how new people would play him and see how outclassed he is compared to other tanks so he definetely needs a buff. Maybe make it so doom cant punch through his shield and orisas ult cant go through the shield

I have 2 ideas of how to buff rein

1: give him 50 more armor, very simple

Or 2: give him a damage resistance while his shield is up, meaning things that would hit through it or those that attack from behind would be less effective. Perhaps 25% resistance?
