Haven't seen this for a while! I bellieve this was a simulated " live promo video" created for the Night Network tv show - the footage blends the actual promo video with an audience bootleg created by the semi-legendary "Soundsville International", but the actual audio it's sync'd to comes from the Rank live album (October 1986).
It's the short-lived five piece Smiths with, literally blink-and-you'll miss him, Craig Gannon on second guitar (who insisted he should have a cut of the royalties for this song).
...btw I think Rob must be still recovering from my last request.
