Tip: Do NOT attack a surge as edger unless you have enough power cubes to tank/one shot a surge, a surge is the main counter to edgar with his "Power Shield" gadget witch makes him tank your shots and reload his ammo with every hit and if the surge doesnt have the gadget then do be careful of the super witch can knock you back if you try to jump on him and as youre the air he can attack and kill you, not even the shield gadget can help.
