For example: Each AMG engine is assembled by 1 worker and he signs that with his signature on a little metal plate which is put on the top the engine. The people are very well educated and well skilled.

there is only one reason for german success over the years....and thats good treatment of working class....if u respect workers and pay them so they can live their livies and have future for kids they gonna give you good quality products and they gonna love their jobs....no other country in the world has that....NOT even ONE.

The Germans are methodical, efficient, reliable and excell in engineering so it's no surprise they have produced the best cars. Interesting how the traits of a people and living conditions make a country excell at something above all others. Other examples include Italians: food, Brits: popular music, Yanks: movies, Japanese: video games, French: fashion.

Like anything on Earth, German cars are a mixed bag. They tend to be well engineered and sometimes over engineered which makes them perform well and have an intangible, almost unexplainable "feel" of quality and sportiness. But this "knife's edge" engineering also tends to make them have small and sometimes major problems. And when they do have a problem, the parts and labor are very expensive. Nothing is "cut and dry" people and engineering is all about TRADEOFFS. Not a sermon, just a thought....

Heyo, great Video! I'm a German and actually didn't know quite a few things, but good to know those now. The point of loyalty of workers is definately true, both my grandfathers started working at either Opel or Volkswagen at the age of 16 and stayed there until they Hit the legal Age limit for workers in Germany. (currently sitting at 63 but bound to br increased) And I have heard everywhere I've been that German quality is still a selling point on most things you can get but specifically the Cars and things like headphones (look at Sennheiser)
Keep up the great work on your vids!

So many people here talking bad about German cars. I drive German cars since I'm allowed to drive cars.
I NEVER had problems.
Perfect quality, reliable, in my opinion normal prices and a high prestige.

I can't understand many of these people here. Maybe they are pissed because they will never drive a German car

In Canada and the U.S. half the workers in factorys are temps making 10-13$ per hour CAD. while the placing or temp company takes $18-$21. Temp agencies should be outlawed.

How were they blamed for starting WW1? It was our (Austro-Hungarian) archduke killed in Sarajevo. That started the war.
